Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
A Path to Health and Happiness
Available online and in-person

The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program developed at the School
of Medicine of the University of Massachusetts by Jon Kabat Zinn, Ph.D., is a
simple direct and effective intervention that deals with the effects created by
high levels of stress.

When we do not respond well to stress, our personal lives suffer and the work
environment looses its vitality. We are robbed of our energy and natural
creativity and suffer the loss of productivity and profit.

MBSR - An Alternative

This eight-week program, which is based on the work of Jon Kabat Zinn,
teaches a practice and style of life that creates an inner balance transforming
stress into a force for health and wellbeing rather than a malevolent aggressor.
It provides instruction and practice in techniques such as:

Body awareness
Mindful movement and gentle
stretching
Concentration
Mindfulness meditation
Exercises to increase awareness
Group discussions

The natural result is more dynamic participation in all aspects of our lives,
which leads to a more fulfilling and
productive personal life and work
environment.
